All the departmental servers have been patched to and users’ Red Hat desktops in the department have been updated to patch the serious bash bug that has been reported today.

There are still some issues and we are awaiting further patches.
If you manage your own Linux/Unix or MacOS computer (especially if you have a webserver) then you should definitely fix this problem.
